Journal 26: Unreliable Narrator

In the stories, we read it by what the narrator says. However, there are a lot of types for the narrator, sometimes the narrator can be the third personal view who is not being inside the story or they can be they can be the first or second personal view that is one of the characters in the story, even the main character can be the narrator, but for the type of narrators in the first point of view, you can’t exactly trust the story they tell sometimes, because they are one of the character in the story! But why does the author try to create an unreliable narrator? Maybe, the author is trying to make the audience become more realistic inside the story, so they created an unreliable narrator to hook the audience. Of course, the unreliable narrator does not necessary has to be inside the story, they could also be in the real life, especially the people that surround you or people want to show you their advantages,  for example, I had a classmate who likes to make friends, he will always tell different things to each person and even make lies, tried to make us think how good is he, this is also a kind of unreliable person to let us see his point of view.

It seems like the unreliable narrotor were every where. They gave the wrong information to the reader to make reader believe that the whole story was true.
